Perfect by-election for Danny Dyer to adopt the Martin Bell “man in a white suit” anti-corruption candidate role, wouldn’t you say?

Nick, you say The Greens have fouled up by not standing a candidate. But surely it can be argued the Tories as well.

In light of *at the very least* a smell of impropriety and Farage shown to be an elite and not a man of the people, and with Clacton being solid Tory until UKIP in 2015, surely Badenoch should feel an upstanding local Tory could have a genuine shot.

A real possibility that Farage turns concerted standing down of the opposition as typical Uniparty behaviour.
